Platts reflects new names for Afton ULSD additives in Singapore gasoil

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will reflect new names for the following Afton Chemical additives already included in the FOB Singapore gasoil assessment process, effective March 17, after been advised they have undergone a product name change:

Previous Name New Name Additive Type

HiTEC 4733 AvGuard AO 609 Antioxidant

HiTEC 4705E AvGuard MDA Metal Deactivator

AvGuardTM CI/LI AvGuard CI/LI Corrosion Inhibitor

The list of Platts gasoil recognized additives is intended to provide clarity to market participants regarding which additives are generally considered merchantable and accepted for cargoes delivered through the Platts Market on Close assessment process in Singapore.
