Platts EMEA nickel premium assessments halted temporarily due to LME trading suspension

Due to the suspension of nickel futures trading by the London Metal Exchange March 8, S&P Global Commodity Insights will not assess weekly Platts EMEA nickel IW Rotterdam premiums for March 11.

The affected weekly symbols/prices for March 11 are: the LME Cash Nickel price (LMABF00), the Nickel Briquette Premium (AALWJ00), the Nickel Plating Premium Rotterdam (MMAYO04) and the Nickel Russian Cathode Premium Rotterdam (MMAYP04).

The missing March 9-11 data, along with missing data for any future dates, will also be reflected in the weekly/monthly averages for the following symbols:

• Nickel Briquette Premium IW Rotterdam (AALWK00)
• Platts Nickel LME Cash Daily (LMABF00, LMABF01, LMABF02)
• Platts Nickel LME 3 Month Daily (LMABD00, LMABD01, LMABD02)
• Platts Nickel LME $/MT Y 1 (LMNOY10, LMNIY14, LMNIY13)
• Platts Nickel LME $/MT Y 2 (LMNIY20, LMNIY24, LMNIY23)
• Platts Nickel LME $/MT Y 3 (LMNIY30, LMNIY34, LMNIY33)
• Platts Nickel LME Settle Daily (LMABG10, LMABG01, LMABG02)
