SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes including new Infineum additive in Singapore gasoil cargoes

Following a continued review of additives reflected in its FOB Singapore gasoil assessments, Platts proposes to begin reflecting a new additive, which has been used around the region.

The additive is flow improver Infineum R274 and Infineum R275D by Infineum.

Platts understands that Infineum R274 is a dilution of Infineum R240.

Infineum R274 has been used for blending purposes in Singapore and by refiners in the city-state.

Infineum R275D has been used for blending purposes and consumed in countries like Australia and Saudi Arabia.

Platts proposes to add this additive to the list of recognized additives reflected in its assessment process.
