Platts to amend Worldscale rates for 145,000 mt, 70,000 mt USGC-UKC routes from April 1

Following a Worldscale Association update to the UK's Fawley port, S&P Global Platts will amend the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations for the 145,000 mt and 70,000 mt US Gulf Coast-to-UK Continent dirty tanker assessments, effective April 1, 2021.

With this amendment, the new average flat rates for the 145,000 mt USGC-to-UKC and the 70,000 mt USGC-to-UKC voyages will be $16.59/mt and $17.04/mt, respectively.
