S&P Global Commodity Insights to change name and specifications of Platts TSI Wire Rod Price Change Index North Europe

S&P Global Commodity Insights will change the name and location of Platts monthly TSI Wire Rod Price Change Index North Europe, effective April 1, 2022, following market feedback.

The changes were first proposed on January 10, 2022 in the following subscriber note:

S&P Global will change the index name to European Industrial Fasteners Institute Wire Rod Change Index and the location from North Europe to Europe.

The index data is currently provided by German fastener association Deutscher Schraubenverband e.V. and, effective April 1, S&P Global will consider data including, but not limited to the German association's contributions.

The index captures the average change in prices paid for the material month on month.

The index has the associated data code TS01032, is published on a monthly basis and can be found in the Platts price database.
