Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched daily spot price assessments for three European ethylene vinyl-acetate grades, effective March 1, 2024.
The daily assessments are based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm UK time on a daily basis.
The details of the assessments are as follows:
Product specifications:
Low EVA below 10% vinyl-acetate content
Medium EVA Between 10-25% vinyl-acetate content
High EVA above 25% vinyl-acetate content
Laycan:
3-30 days forward from date of assessment
Currency: Eur/mt
Cargo size: Between 25-100 mt lots for domestic business
Basis and location: DDP NWE
Mode of transport: Trucks
The assessments follow the London publication schedule, with weekly averages and a weekly market commentary published every Wednesday.
The new assessments are published in Platts Polymerscan and on Platts Connect.
