Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the cargo volumes for its Canadian White Rose crude assessment, effective March 1, 2023.
The decision was announced on Jan. 25, available here.
Platts established in its White Rose assessment a minimum volume of 550,000 barrels and maximum of 960,000 barrels, with the cargo assessment reflecting a standard volume of 710,000 barrels.
The volume changes apply to the assessment of Eastern Canadian White Rose, which reflects barrels loading on an FOB basis at Whiffen Head, Newfoundland, Canada. The changes apply to the following codes:
White Rose AAVJX00 AAVJX03
White Rose vs Canada Dated Brent Strip AAVJY00 AAVJY03
White Rose (C$/CM) AAVPI00 AAVPI03
