Platts to launch daily global acrylic acid and European acrylates spot assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has decided to launch daily glacial acrylic acid (GAA) assessments in Asia, Europe, and the US from the start of April 2024. Platts has also decided to launch daily butyl acrylate (BA) and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate (2-EHA) assessments in Europe.

Platts would start databasing US and Asia assessments from April 1, 2024, and in Europe from April 2, 2024, accounting for public holidays in the UK.

Platts has proposed to launch US acrylates announced in a separate methodology subscriber note here.
