Platts to announce decision on merchantability of Russian material in its Asia fuel oil, bunker assessments March 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has concluded its market consultation on the merchantability of Russian material in the Asia fuel oil cargo and bunker markets and will announce its decision on the review via a subscriber note on March 1 at 10 am SGT.

Platts formally invited feedback on the subject starting Feb. 10 following an announcement of a price cap on seaborne Russian petroleum products by a G7-led coalition.
