Effective March 30, 2015, Platts will launch a daily US Dollar-Indian Rupee currency assessment to complement its global sugar pricing coverage.
This follows a period of feedback which ended February 26.
The assessment will be made basis 1630 Singapore time, and be used as part of calculations for third-party NCDEX data for sugar prices in India.
The new assessment will also add to Platts existing portfolio of currency assessments published to support a range of Platts physical commodity assessments.
Details about the new symbol codes and page listings will be announced at a later date.
Please send any comments or questions by March 13, 2015, to europe_ags@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com. For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing. Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request.
