Platts to launch nylon intermediates spot assessments in Europe, Asia

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has decided to launch cyclohexane and adipic acid spot assessments in Asia effective April 1 and cyclohexane in Europe effective April 2.

Additionally, Platts has decided to start covering the nylon resins market, as announced in a separate methodology subscriber note.

The new assessments will expand Platts coverage on polymers and build on the nylon market reporting in order to better serve the growing fibers and engineering industry.

Details of the proposed cyclohexane assessments are as follows:
