Platts discontinues natural gas price locations in the Rocky Mountains region

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued four natural gas price locations in the Rocky Mountain region.

The discontinuations consist of: Northwest, Wyoming Pool (IGBDA03), Northwest, S. of Green River (IGBYT03) and Kern River, Wyoming (IGBCL03) monthly indices, and the Northwest, Rocky Mountain Pool (IGBRW00) daily index.

The monthly indices have been discontinued with the March 2025 edition of the Inside FERC Gas Market Report First of Month, and the final values for the monthly indices have been published in the Feb. 1, 2025, edition of the First of Month report.

The daily index has been discontinued with next-day trading on March 31, 2025, for delivery on April 1, 2025.

The discontinuation follows a decision period in which Platts has gathered feedback from market participants.
