Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to change the frequency of its Middle East-East China and Middle East-India, 10,000-12,000 mt liquid chemical freight assessments to weekly, effective April 5, 2024, in alignment with other easy chemicals freight assessments.
These assessments are currently published on Wednesdays and Fridays. Under the proposed changes, Platts would publish these assessments only on Fridays or the last working day of the week.
The proposed change would affect the following assessments:

ABMIA00 | ABMIA03 | Middle East to India | 10,000-12,000 mt |
These assessments are published in the Platts Petrochemical Alert fixed pages 337, 214, 340, 215 and 643, Asian Petrochemicalscan and Platts Connect.
