Platts launches new Tennessee, zone 1 monthly natural gas index

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched a new Tennessee, zone 1 (IGBHI03) monthly natural gas index.

Platts currently publishes a daily index for Tennessee, zone 1 and has kept the methodology unchanged for the monthly market.

The methodology for Tennessee, zone 1 is as follows: Tennessee, zone 1 (daily and monthly market) Deliveries into Tennessee Gas Pipeline 100 Leg between Natchitoches, Louisiana and Portland, Tennessee.

The index is effective for trade date Feb. 23, the first trading day of March bidweek.
