Platts is to align its naming convention for the French PEG Sud natural gas market to reflect an industry-wide trading framework change due to take effect April 1, 2015, in line with announcements made by the French Commission de Regulation de l'energie -- CRE.
On April 1, 2015, the PEG TIGF and PEG Sud hubs will merge to form a single gas hub to be named Trading Region South -- TRS.
As a result the following Platts assessments (symbols) will undergo a name change:
Effective Date: April 1, 2015:
PEG Sud Day-ahead/GPSTD00: French PEG Sud DA Eur/MWh to French TRS DA Eur/MWh
PEG Sud Weekend/GPSTT00: French PEG Sud TDt Weekend Eur/MWh to French TRS TDt Weekend Eur/MWh
Effective Date: March 2, 2015:
PEG Sud Month-Ahead/GPSTM00: French PEG Sud MA Eur/MWh to French TRS MA Eur/MWh
The above changes apply to all related symbols, including flow date symbols, currency and unit conversions and monthly averages, and to the historical data series for PEG Sud.
