SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to amend discharge and load ports for USGC-Turkey Supramax petcoke freight assessment

In response to market changes and industry feedback, S&P Global Platts confirms it will amend the discharge port reflected in its Houston to Turkey petcoke dry bulk freight assessment from Aliaga to Iskenderun, effective April 1, 2018. In addition, in line with US Census Bureau data and additional feedback, Platts will amend the load port from Houston to New Orleans.

This assessment appears in the Dry Freight Wire and the fixed page PMA-3912 under the code CIPHT00.

Platts initially proposed to discontinue the assessment in a note published December 19, 2017 (https://www.platts.com/subscriber-notes-details/26859364). That note also proposed an implementation date of March 1, 2018.
