Platts to discontinue two China domestic stainless steel assessments

Following industry feedback and to reflect the changing market dynamics, S&P Global Platts will discontinue two China domestic stainless steel price assessments with effect from May 4, 2022.

The two prices will be the HR304 Ex-warehouse Foshan assessment (SB01136) and the CR430 Ex-warehouse Foshan assessment (SB01074).

Platts other Asia stainless steel assessments, CR304 Ex-warehouse Foshan and CR304 CFR East Asia, will not be affected.

The assessments appear in Platts Steel Price Report, SBB Daily Briefing, Platts Price Analyzer and Platts Market Data category SQ.
