Platts completes migration of Carbon Pricing Content to Energy Transition, Carbon Markets service lines

S&P Global Platts has completed the migration of its Carbon Pricing content to the Energy Transition Alert (ETA) and Carbon Market Alert (CMA) service lines and has ceased publication of carbon pricing content in a number of publications from Feb. 21.

Platts will no longer be publishing its Platts CEC $/mtCO2e (PCECA00) and Platts CEC Eur/mtCO2e and any related content in the following publications:

  • Bunkerwire
  • Coal Trader
  • Coal Trader International
  • Energy Trader
  • Europe and Americas Petrochemicalscan
  • Polymerscan
  • European Gas Daily
  • Gas Daily
  • LNG Daily
  • Megawatt Daily
  • European Power Daily

All Carbon pricing content -- including price assessments, commentaries, rationales and news -- is now available on the ETA and CMA service lines, as well as the Carbon Markets Daily publication and Platts Dimensions Pro. Carbon content currently available on Platts Live also remains unchanged.

Platts will also continue to publish the Platts CEC $/mtCO2e in US Marketscan and Asia-Pacific Marketscan and both Platts CEC $/mtCO2e and Platts CEC Eur/mtCO2e in European Marketscan.
