Reminder: Platts North American Natural Gas and Power Forward Curve legacy products to be retired

Please note that as of April 10, 2017, Platts North American Natural Gas and Power Forward Curve (PFC) legacy products will be retired.

Presently, they are strictly subsets and derivatives of our standard M2MS Gas/Power forward curves; with Platts' partnership with ICE, M2MS data presently produced truncates this information and averages it into certain packages, forming the basis of Platts' present-day PFC offerings. With this transition, the data set you receive will be more robust and granular, a value-add to your risk management and decision-making functions.

Below are details around what you can expect:

- Retiring of GN, DP and SK categories of PFC on April 10, 2017. - Retiring of M2MS monthly and daily derivative categories on April 10, 2017. - Retiring IMSFTP delivery of the remaining M2MS derivatives on April 10, 2017. - Introduction of new M2MS 3 Yr. symbols-based Power Heat Rates in Market Data categories ADH, JDH, SDH, ODH, WDH and FDH on February 27, 2017. Additionally, there will be parallel overlap availability of M2MS derivatives and PFC categories for PFC subscribers for 45 days until the final retirement of PFC GN, DP and SK categories.
