Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch daily spot price assessments for ethylene vinyl-acetate (EVA) in Asia and in the US, effective March 11.
The assessments would be based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time and 1:30 pm Central Time, respectively, following the regional publishing schedules.

Following market feedback, the laycan for Asia EVA has been revised to 15-30 days forward, to reflect typical observable trading activity. Similarly, standard credit terms have been updated to reflect market standard practice.
Platts initially proposed on Jan. 19, a laycan of five to 10 days forward from the date of publication, on a delivered basis.
