SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches FD NWE food grade pellet assessment for recycled PET

S&P Global Platts has launched a FD NWE food grade pellet spot price assessment effective Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

Platts has launched the assessment to better capture the full range of the European R-PET market.

The assessment will complement the existing FD NWE R-PET flake assessment.

The weekly assessment will take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm London time Wednesday and will reflect material with a minimum IV of 0.8 in minimum 20 mt parcels for delivery in Northwest Europe within 3-30 days from the date of publication.

The northwest Europe food grade pellet assessment will be published on the Platts real-time Petrochemical Alert pages PCA 506 and Polymerscan.
