Platts amends Worldscale basket rate for Australia-to-North Asia dirty tanker route Feb. 1

Following a Worldscale Association update to Australia's Dampier port, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has amended the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations for the Australia to North Asia 80kt dirty tanker assessment, effective Feb. 1, 2024.

With this amendment, the new average flat rate for the Australia-to-North Asia voyage is $14.52/mt.

Clean tanker rates are not affected.
