S&P Global Platts changed the incoterm of its European SHG Zinc monthly assessment from in-warehouse (IW) to free-carrier (FCA) Rotterdam, after a period of market consultation since November 7, 2018. The change is effective from February 1, 2019. S&P Global Platts has changed this assessment on the back of a shift in market dynamics towards higher liquidity on an FCA basis reported transactions.
