Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to publish new assessments for the US Gulf Coast gasoline market showing the spread between existing waterborne FOB barge assessments and the corresponding prompt cycle Colonial Pipeline assessments for the same grade, effective from April 1, 2024.
These spreads would bring greater transparency to the waterborne USGC gasoline market and would be linked to the existing Platts barge assessments reflecting parcels of 50,000-125,000 barrels loading 10-18 days forward from the day of publication.
The list of spread assessments Platts is proposing to publish is as follows:
Gasoline CBOB 87 USGC waterborne-pipeline spread
Gasoline Premium CBOB 93 USGC waterborne-pipeline spread
Gasoline Unl 87 USGC waterborne-pipeline spread
Gasoline Unl 89 USGC waterborne-pipeline spread
Gasoline Unl 93 USGC waterborne-pipeline spread
