Platts to amend Worldscale basket rate for Mediterranean to USAC dirty tanker routes from Feb. 1

Following a Worldscale Association update to La Skhirra, Tunisia, port, S&P Global Platts will amend the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations for the Mediterranean to USAC 80kt and 135kt dirty tanker assessments, effective Feb. 1, 2022.

With this amendment, the new average flat rate for the Mediterranean to USAC voyages will be $15.38/mt.

Clean tanker rates are not affected.
