Platts proposes new Tennessee, zone 1 monthly natural gas index

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to add a new Tennessee, zone 1 (IGBHI03) monthly natural gas index.

Platts currently publishes a daily index for Tennessee, zone 1 and would keep the methodology unchanged for the monthly market.

The methodology for Tennessee, zone 1 would be as follows: Tennessee, zone 1 (daily and monthly market) deliveries into Tennessee Gas Pipeline 100 Leg between Natchitoches, Louisiana and Portland, Tennessee.

The proposed index would become effective for trade date Feb. 23, the first trading day of March bidweek.
