SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts confirms new Afton additives in Singapore gasoil cargoes

Following feedback on its proposal published on August 10, 2017, expanding a review of additives reflected in its FOB Singapore gasoil assessments, S&P Global Platts confirms the addition of several new Afton additives from January 15.

The additives are: Type Name(s) Lubricity Improver HiTEC 4140A Metal De-activator HiTEC 4705E Antioxidant HiTEC 4733 Corrosion Inhibitor AvGuardTM CI/LI

Platts understands that the additives have been accepted for use in cargoes transported through Australia's multi product pipeline systems, and have been generally used in the region.
