Platts corrects US dollar conversions for R-PET, R-LDPE and nylon chain European assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has corrected the newly launched US dollar conversions for European recycled polyethylene terephthalate, recycled low-density polyethylene and nylon chain assessments, following a technical error.

The correction affects the US-dollar-denominated values databased Jan. 6, 2025, covering the period from July 1, 2024-Jan. 3 2025.

The original assessed values in euros have not been impacted.

Weekly averages for the US dollar conversions were also recalculated for recycled polyethylene terephthalate flake FD NWE, recycled low-density polyethylene grey pellets DDP NWE and bright-grade nylon-6 resin DDP NWE.

This correction does not impact the original weekly averages published in euros.

The US dollar conversions were launched Jan. 6, 2025.
