Platts on Monday will introduce its redesigned US intraday assessments for gasoline and middle distillates. Under the redesigned format, Platts will to add three new intraday assessments, reflecting the value of RBOB gasoline for delivery in New York Harbor, the US Gulf Coast, and Chicago. Platts would also, as previously announced, add intraday assessments for the value of CBOB gasoline for FOB New York Harbor, the US Gulf Coast and Chicago. Additionally, please note that Platts will not publish intraday assessments for CBOB in Group 3. At the same time, Platts proposes to discontinue its intraday assessments for the value of conventional unleaded gasoline and US jet fuel in the US Gulf Coast, Chicago and Group 3. Platts will continue to publish intraday assessments for the value of CARBOB gasoline and CARB diesel in Los Angeles; ULSD in New York Harbor, the US Gulf Coast, Chicago and Group 3; and heating oil in New York Harbor and the US Gulf Coast. US Gulf Coast assessments will reflect product moving on the prompt cycle of the Colonial Pipeline, with input at Pasadena, Texas. Chicago assessments will reflect prompt barrels delivered into Chicago through any of the major pipelines that supply the city, including the Kaneb, Wolverine, West Shore, or Badger pipelines. New York Harbor assessments are for barges loading 3-7 days forward Monday through Wednesday, and 5-9 days forward on Thursday and Friday. Platts will consolidate all US intraday assessments onto two pages on Platts Global Alert, using one page for gasoline and one page for middle distillates. Platts plans to update these new pages at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Central time on its standard publishing schedule. A complete list of new and discontinued pages is provided below.
