Platts adds minimum volume to Germany THG-Advanced Single Counting assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, Platts, has added a minimum volume of 50,000 GJ to the specifications of its Germany greenhouse gas quota (THG) Advanced Single Counting assessments, effective Jan. 9.

Volumes outside of this may be considered and normalized back to this volume.

The following assessment symbols are affected:

  • GASCY01 Germany THG-Advanced Single Counting (Previous Year)
  • GASCY02 Germany THG-Advanced Single Counting (Current Year)
  • GASCY03 Germany THG-Advanced Single Counting (Next Year)

This update follows the launch of the THG price assessments Nov. 1, 2024.
