Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will specify China's main ports as the location basis for the Asian polyethylene terephthalate FOB Northeast Asia assessment to reflect China's export volumes as the mainstream source of Northeast Asian liquidity, effective Feb. 7.
All other PET assessment methodology specifications will remain unchanged. These specifications are:
The changes will affect the price assessment under the following code:
