Platts will update its methodology for its daily refining yields, netback and margin values on January 13, 2020, to incorporate 0.5%S marine fuel assessments as applicable following the new IMO 2020 sulfur restrictions for bunker fuels that entered into force on January 1, 2020.
The yields are generated in collaboration with Turner, Mason & Co., which supplies the yield calculation formulas. The daily yields, netbacks and margins are published on Platts Global Alert (pages 1810, 1820, 2810 respectively), in Crude Oil Marketwire and in Platts Market Data.
The corresponding weekly averages are published in the Feeder Crude Tables on Platts Global Alert, in the Oilgram Price Report, and in the database.
