Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has switched Platts Bunker Charge 19 and Platts Bunker Charge 20 in their fronthaul and backhaul categorizations, to reflect current trade flow dynamics between the two regions.
Previously, PBC1900 -- Indian Subcontinent-to-North Asia – was the fronthaul, but is now categorized as backhaul effective Jan. 2. Similarly, North Asia-to-Indian Subcontinent has transitioned from backhaul to fronthaul.
