Platts launches assessment of West African FOB STS Lome jet fuel

S&P Global Platts has launched a daily price assessment for West African FOB STS Lome jet fuel with effect from January 2, 2020.

The assessment is for Jet A1 DEFSTAN fuel loading STS basis offshore Lome, Togo. SPECIFICATION: The assessment reflects the value of commercial Jet A-1 specification as defined by the latest edition of UK Ministry of Defence's DEFSTAN 91-91.

BASIS: The West African jet assessment would be STS basis offshore Lome, Togo. Indications from other locations in West Africa may be taken into account and normalized back to offshore Lome.

SIZE: The West African grade jet assessment represents parcels of 5,000-10,000 mt. Other cargo sizes may also be considered for assessment purposes but normalized back to the reference cargo size.

LOADING PERIOD: The assessment reflects material for STS loading in the offshore Lome, three to ten days forward from the date of publication.
