Following feedback on its announcement on August 10, 2017, on a review of additives reflected in its FOB Singapore gasoil assessments, S&P Global Platts confirms it will begin to reflect the new Afton additive from January 15, 2018, which has been used around the region.
The additives are: Type Name(s) Lubricity Improver HiTEC 4140A Metal De-activator HiTEC 4705E Antioxidant HiTEC 4733 Corrosion Inhibitor AvGuardTM CI/LI
Platts understands that the additive has also been accepted for use in cargoes transported through Australia's multi-product pipeline systems.
