Nord Pool Elspot price history adjustments

As part of an ongoing effort to improve coverage of European power exchange data, Platts has created a new set of symbols specifically for Nord Pool Elspot volumes. In order to complete the migration to the new symbols, it will be necessary to delete the volume values stored with 'w' bates under the existing Nord Pool Elspot price symbols and add them to the new volume symbols with 'u' bates. Since this data goes back to 1999, this process will involve several hundred thousand adjustments.

To minimize inconvenience, Platts will provides all the changes in values to subscribers and Platts vendor partners in compressed (.zip) dispatch-format. The changes will start on 29 December 2009, and the .zip files will be available at that time.
