Additions, changes to China, Taiwan bunker symbols

As recently announced, Platts is expanding and refining its coverage of bunker prices posted by Chimbusco and CPC for ports in China and Taiwan.

The changes include adjusted descriptions for some existing symbols to improve clarity, and the creation of new symbols for additional commodities and port locations.

Chimbusco and CPC posted bunker prices appear on PGA pages 996 and 984, respectively.

Prices for the new symbols will begin updating on November 23. Platts apologizes for the relatively short notice.

Platts is also discontinuing several symbols representing monthly average prices for Chimbusco and CPC bunker postings.
