Platts to launch steel billet FOB Black Sea assessment

Platts will launch a daily seaborne spot price assessment for steel billet loaded for export in the Black Sea region.

Platts will publish this assessment in Platts Metals Alert, Steel Markets Daily and Platts Dispatch category FA.

The daily assessment will be shown on metals week page MW1310.

Launch date is scheduled for December 1, 2010.
