Used lead-acid batteries to be assessed

Platts will will begin assessing used lead-acid batteries in the US on a weekly basis, starting October 30, 2012, publishing Tuesdays in Platts Metals Daily and on a PMA page to be announced.

Monthly averages will start on November 30, 2012 for November averages.

Launch date is scheduled for October 30, 2012.
