Enhancements to FTP Dispatch service planned for Q2 2011

Platts is planning to enhance the Platts Dispatch service in the second quarter of 2011. The enhancements will increase the stability and efficiency of the Platts Dispatch FTP delivery platform while providing additional features that will improve overall service quality and enable Platts to expand the service in the future. One key improvement will be the support of additional protocols, such as sFTP and possibly others in future.

The enhancements will be seamless and will not require system or application upgrades. However, if you must use a specific IP/DNS address rather than the URL (ftp.platts.com) to connect to the Platts Dispatch FTP site, you will need to adjust your configuration to use a new IP/DNS address. If you will need the new IP/DNS address, please contact your local Platts Customer Care representative or email support@platts.com and let us know. This will enable us to provide you with the new address as soon as it becomes available.
