Platts will introduce European spot assessments for emulsion and solution styrene, butadiene rubber from September 1, 2012.
The assessments will reflect inland weekly spot transactions on an FD NWE basis.
In addition, Platts will also introduce spot assessments on an FOB NWE basis to reflect export transactions.
All spot assessments would reflect clear emulsion-grade SBR 1500 and 1502 grades, and oil-extended 1783 and 1723 grades.
Platts will also assess solution-grade SBR oil-extended 5025 grade.
All price assessments will reflect the close of European markets, time stamped at 16:30 GMT subject to the typical guidelines of the Platts Market on Close assessment process.
Monthly averages will launch October 1, 2012, for September averages.
PCA page to be announced.
