New petroleum product rack price symbols

In response to recent market activity, Platts has created a number of new North American rack (wholesale) price symbols for several petroleum products. Telvent/DTN is the source for Platts rack price data.

For a complete list of the new symbols, click on the following link, or copy and paste it into your web browser: http://plts.co/DTNracks0512

Many of the symbols in the list reflect two supplier-related changes:

* A new supplier, Hartland Renewable Fuels, Omaha NE has been added. Hartland recently acquired Bosselmans Inc, so symbols for that supplier have been discontinued.

* Effective May 1, ConocoPhillips transferred its refinery operations to a new company, Phillips 66. In line with that change, descriptions for all rack price symbols containing the name 'COP' have been adjusted to reflect the new name Phillips 66 has chosen to use for rack prices - PSX.

New symbols are indicated by 'Add' in column A on the first tab. The change ('Chg') entries on the first tab reflect the COP-PSX description adjustments, as well as previously-discontinued symbols which have been reactivated due to recent market activity. The second tab lists Bosselmans symbols, symbols which have been discontinued due to inactivity, and already-discontinued COP-PSX symbols. The third tab lists the descriptions for all Market Data Categories for Platts rack prices.
