Platts begins databasing North American LNG cargo cancellations

S&P Global Platts has begun databasing the monthly North American LNG cargo cancellations reported to Platts by market participants, effective April 20, 2021.

Data collected from the market about North American cargo cancellations continues be published monthly in a table on page 6 of Platts LNG Daily.

This data is, however, now also available via Platts symbol code ACANA00 and on Platts LNG Alert page LNG2602.

Platts publishes cancellations reported for the period two months ahead of the month of reporting on the 20th of each month. In the event the 20th falls on a weekend or holiday, this information will be published the next business day.

For example, on April 20, 2021, cancellations for June-loading cargoes would be reported under the new symbol code.
