New dispatch categories IG and MC will be activated on April 16

Effective with the first (8:15am US Eastern time) Dispatch cut on Friday, April 16, 2010, Platts will activate two new dispatch categories for data subscribers and vendor partners. Files for these categories will be posted to ftp.platts.com for FTP Dispatch subscribers and to the 'Dispatch' area at www.online.platts.com (the 'My Subscriptions' link at www.platts.com) for Dispatch CSV subscribers.

Dispatch category IG (Baker Hughes Rig Counts) includes weekly oil and natural gas rig counts for the US and monthly rig counts for other countries, as published by Baker Hughes. Realtime data subscribers will receive this data via realtime market center 19t (Base Petroleum Data). IG will be available in the 'Dispatch/Oil' section of www.online.platts.com. Dispatch category MC (Metallurgical Coal) includes information on coking coal and petcoke. Realtime data subscribers will receive prices via realtime market center 06l (Metallurgical Coal). MC will be available in the 'Dispatch/Coal' section of www.online.platts.com.
