New Market Data category and symbols for Chinese Steel Fundamental Data

Platts will begin publishing Chinese Steel Fundamental Data with effect from April 18th, 2016. This will comprise of monthly Chinese steel production by product as well as finished steel imports and exports by country, raw material imports and exports by country and product, and iron ore imports by country. The data is collected and released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) and the Chinese Department of Commerce and sourced from MySteel.
