On April 30th 2018 S&P Global Platts is aligning the Quantitative Forward Curve symbol descriptions to the PFC naming convention.
The word "Financial" replaces the word "Swap". Moreover, in order to provide better transparency, the name of the underlying spot market appears more clearly in the symbol description of the curves. Finally, the word "M2M" is clearly specified in the symbol description in order to differentiate the Quantitative Forward Curve from the Platts editorial assessments.
The amendments have been done consistently across the three regions and do not affect the data.
