More price history backfills for European Exchange symbols

Commodity: Power and Natural Gas Region: Europe

As announced last December, Platts has implemented the following changes on 23 February 2009 for the remaining exchanges: Belpx, APX, ENDEX, PXE (futures), Powernext (futures), and Dutch Imports, in order to improve the quality and timeliness of the price and volume values we publish for European Exchanges in dispatch categories EH and ET. Going forward, index and closing prices for Euro Exchange symbols are stored under 'c' bates, and volumes are stored under 'u' bates.

Within the next two months, Platts will be backfilling about 500,000 prices plus about 500,000 deletions. Close/index price history stored under 'u' bates and volume history stored under 'w' bates will be moved to 'c' and 'u' bates respectively. FTP Dispatch and Dispatch CSV subscribers will receive the prices as 'N' (new) and 'D' (delete) in dispatch categories EH and ET. Realtime data customers will receive them in realtime market centers 19g and 19j.
