Platts Mexican rebar index plunges 6.5% in June

The Platts monthly index for Mexican domestic rebar plunged 6.49% to 216.3 points in June from 231.3 points in May.

This represents the first decline after six straight months of increases, in which the Mexican domestic rebar price reached all-time highs.

The June index rose 19.73% on the year basis.

The index is calculated with the monthly average of the weekly Platts assessment.
