REFINERY NEWS: PBF ups distillate output at Delaware City as gasoline cracks fall

Notes: PBF is making changes at its 182,200 b/d refinery in Delaware City, Delaware, to increase output of distillates such as ultra-low sulfur diesel while cutting back on gasoline output, a source familiar with refinery operations said Monday.

"We are not cutting run rates as of yet. Just making changes to the cuts. [We are] reducing gas make and increasing distillate make," the source said.

A PBF spokesman was not immediately available for comment

NYMEX front-month RBOB cracks from front-month NYMEX crude contract averaged $3.34/b for the week ended March 20. In early Monday trade, they were $1.35/b.

NYMEX front-month ULSD cracks from front-month NYMEX crude contract were currently $19.45/b. For the week ended March 20, they averaged $18.00/b.
