Production has stopped at Dammam chlorine plant
Saudi Arabia's Basic Chemical Industries has started commercial production at its new chlorine plant in Jubail, the company said in a July 24 statement to the Tadawul stock exchange.
The plant also produces caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite and hydrochloric acid products. All necessary operational licenses have been obtained, it added.
In conjunction with the start-up in Jubail, Basic Chemical said production has been stopped at the chlorine plant in Dammam.
